Information regarding the freeze of electricity prices 2025

The maximum prices in 2025 will benefit:

  • local government units and public utility entities and recipients who provide electricity to the indicated categories of entities, i.e. eligible recipients defined in art. 2 point 2 letters d – f of the Act of 27 October 2022 on extraordinary measures aimed at limiting the level of electricity prices and supporting certain recipients in 2023–2025 (the “Act”) – the maximum price is PLN 693,00/MWh (+ excise duty + VAT) and will apply to electricity supplied in the period from 1 January to 31 March 2025, provided that a declaration by an eligible recipient is submitted;
  • eligible recipients classified to tariff groups G and the so-called construction tariff – the maximum price for these recipients is PLN 500,00/MWh (+ excise duty + VAT) and will apply to electricity supplied in the period from 1 January to 30 September 2025.

IMPORTANT – in 2025, microenterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises, agricultural producers not classified in tariff groups G and entities that provide electricity to the above-mentioned categories of recipients will not be able to benefit from the maximum price.

We kindly inform you that the electricity seller is not responsible for determining whether a given Customer is an eligible recipient. Therefore, the Company does not conduct consultations or participate in the interpretation of the provisions of Article 2, point 2 of the Act in terms of determining whether a Customer may be classified as an eligible recipient.

Local government units, public utility entities and recipients who provide electricity to the indicated categories of entities will benefit from the maximum price only if a declaration of an eligible recipient is submitted to the seller.

IMPORTANT – the declaration must also be submitted if it was submitted earlier (for the purpose of using the maximum price in 2022, 2023 or 2024).
